National Nurses Week 2012

Imagine a world without nurses…

Every day over 3 million registered nurses advocate for patients in diverse care clinical settings including emergency rooms, schools, nursing homes and homeless shelters.  Today, nurses are viewed as expert clinicians whose leadership dramatically influences the quality of care and overall performance of the health system. Although new demands have been placed on nurses to meet 21st century needs, the compassionate care they provide is still the cornerstone of their dedication and commitment.

Do you work with or know an exceptional nurse who deserves special recognition?

Acknowledge his or her compassion, professionalism and dedication with a gift to support education for 21st century nurses.

National Nurses week is May 6-12, but at the School of Nursing we want to recognize nurses during the whole month of May.

When you make a tax-deductible gift to the Nursing Annual Fund, we will:

  • Send a personalized acknowledgment card to your honoree
  • He or she will also be recognized on the school’s website

There is no better way to honor a nurse’s dedication, commitment and tireless effort, while at the same time supporting the education of future nurses.

Gifts should be received by May 30, 2012
